About

Bar Gordon is a photographer, teacher, lecturer, and post-doctoral researcher in
literature, whose personal autobiography influences her work process. Her work
primarily focuses on portraiture, especially of intellectuals, poets, artists, and
musicians. There is often deep intimacy in the photographic process among the
subjects, the photographer, and the viewers, allowing their representation in front of
"the world." Besides portraiture, Bar also photographs in environments where she
works or moves, such as schools and various locations worldwide. Her photographs
appear globally in journals, newspapers, websites, and social networks.
